- The data we collect is 100% anonymous and aggregated.

What Data Do We Collect?
When you run a benchmark, we exclusively collect the following technical information:
- Benchmark Results: The numerical scores and running statistics from each benchmark, and the overall score.
- Some information from window.navigator to get some device and hardware configuration, and browser name and version.
- Some information from WEBGL_debug_renderer_info to get GPUs information.
- When possible, we determine and store the country from your IP address, we don't store your IP address.
- Some optional information you could provide: a 3 letters anonymous pseudo code and the model of your device.
How Do We Use This Data?
This anonymous data is essential to SpeedPower.run's mission:
- To Power Global Statistics: To fuel some comparisons we will publish or provide on the website (i.e. Safari/Chrome/Edge comparison for a same device, or the top 10 best device scores).
- For Research & Development: To analyze web performance trends and understand the strengths and weaknesses of different browsers and platforms.
- To Train AI Models: To help us build predictive models of web performance, with the ultimate goal of creating faster applications for everyone.
